Learn about the U.S. premiere of a 300 year old serenata by Alessandro Scarlartti written for the heir of the Hapsburg throne. World renowned baroque music scholar and music director, Nicholas McGegan, presented this newly discovered work for the first time in the western hemisphere in October 2015 with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale and guest artists Diana Moore, Suzana Ograjensek, Nicholas Phan, Clint van der Linde and Doug Williams.
